Year 9 Boppard Visit

Forty Year 9s and 5 members of staff spent this week visiting the Rhineland. Despite some poor weather we all had a great time exploring this picturesque region.

Our group travelled overnight by ferry from Hull to Rotterdam. We visited Cologne and enjoyed a 360 degree view of the city, a guided tour of the Lindt Chocolate  museum and the Cathedral, as well as a brief pitstop at the Euro 2024 fan zone. Of course, a visit to the Rhineland is not complete without a river cruise passing through the historical Rhineland valley.

Our students impressed everyone they met with their excellent manners and German language skills; finally ordering their very first Currywurst.
