Free School Meals

Eligibility
FSM are available to pupils in receipt of, or whose parents are in receipt of, one or more of the following benefits:

• Universal Credit 
• Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999.

Previously those who earned less than £7,400 annually and were on Universal Credit were entitled to FSM, now all on Universal Credit are entitled.

All applications for FSM are processed through Trafford Council. Please note your child is under no obligation to have free school meals but by successfully applying your child will attract pupil premium funding.  Please click here to view the letter sent out regarding Free School Meal changes from June 2026.
