Year 8 Music workshop with the BBC Philharmonic 

On Tuesday, some of our Year 8 instrumental students were lucky enough to take part in a musical workshop with members from the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. This interactive workshop explored various composers from ethnically diverse backgrounds, whose music has not traditionally seen the recognition it may otherwise have done. Students explored the music accompanied by the BBC Philharmonic musicians, and even had a go at writing and performing their own raps about the composers.
