Miss Tedford with an update on Year 8 English

“This week, some Year 8 classes have taken part in an LRC competition for which pupils were asked to design a front cover for their favourite book.  Whilst there were many excellent and creative designs, congratulations to the four winners, all in 8X1: Heba Adhami (8SRU), Mia Liddell (8ESD), Ella Spencer (8MES) and Armeen Shehzad (8ARI). The four competition winners won £5 tokens to spend at this week’s LRC book fair, which has been very successful. Both myself and Ms Gilbert were particularly impressed by the entries.”
