The Year 8 and Year 9 girls recently competed in the prestigious Sale Harriers Invitational Competition at Sportcity, an invitation-only event featuring some of the strongest schools from across Greater Manchester.

The girls produced an outstanding team performance, finishing 2nd overall out of 9 schools, a fantastic achievement against such high-quality opposition.

There were several excellent individual and team performances on the day. Congratulations to Sylvie, who claimed 1st place in the 300m, and to Isolde, who secured 1st place in the High Jump with a superb display of athleticism.

The girls also impressed in the relay events, with the relay team earning an excellent 3rd-place finish.

Well done to all the athletes involved on an excellent achievement.
