Year 10 Enterprise Challenge

“Year 10 pupils are taking part in a Dragon’s Den style Enterprise Challenge run by Manchester Airport” writes Mrs Clarke. “The challenge – to create and sell a Christmas gift to raise money for Francis House.  The group have been busy developing a business idea and putting together their business plan ready to pitch to the ‘Dragons’ in the hope of gaining £100 investment to set up their enterprise in the coming weeks.  They are also given a Business Mentor to offer advice which has been particularly useful. At this week’s meeting, they met their Business Mentor who was full of praise for their progress made so far.  Next week they are also meeting a representative from Francis House to help develop their fundraising ideas.”
