U16 Boys Hockey v AGSB

Given that most of our team was from Year 10 and our keeper has only played once before, a loss against AGSB seemed inevitable, but the scoreline was important. In order to go through to the next round of the Cheshire Cup we could only afford a goal difference of 6. We kept them to 0-2 in the first half with some opportunities to score ourselves. We started very strong in the second half and conceded only 2 more. They put a lot of pressure on our inexperienced keeper James, but he kept plenty of first and second time shots out!

The boys really stepped up to the challenge and played some superb hockey, maintaining their composure in the 23.

Well done to all who played and to James Court for receiving man of the match.
