Tesco Grant

We have recently found out that Wellington School is the winning project for the Tesco’s helping hands fund (blue tokens in-store) and will be receiving funding of £1,500 for a food/cooking project that will be provided as one of our many extra-curricular activities.

I’d just like to say a massive thank you to all the parents, pupils, friends of the school and the local community for voting for our project – we couldn’t do it without you.

Once the funding has been received pupils will benefit from some exciting opportunities making products we wouldn’t normally make as part of the curriculum.
