Science Club 01/05/24

Our clever young Scientists have been building bridges this week! Not with each other – they are all the best of friends! We set them an engineering challenge where they had to design and build a bridge 45cm long and a minimum of 5cm wide, made of 20 sticks and paper. The bridges were judged firstly on their design and prizes awarded. We then ran a competition to see which bridge would hold the most mass by adding 100g weights on. There was a clear winner – ‘The Strawberry Bridge” at 1500g! However, well done to all groups on their creativity and determination!
