Thank you to Mrs Gibson who shared with us how Patrick, one of our incredible A Level students from last year is getting on at University. Patrick began his undergraduate degree in September at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and is currently playing bass in a band for a vocalist called Faye Donna Francis. They were included on Radio Merseyside’s BBC Introducing programme last Saturday evening and it is very much worth a listen (you can hear the band from around 1h04m in until around 1h 25m). It’s only available for another 25 days so get listening. There are some gigs in the pipeline for May – as long as there’s no clash with the Eurovision – so cross fingers we’ll be able to hear them play locally and I’ll make sure to keep you in the loop.
