Lynton Building EAL Takeover! Young Interpreters Style!

Last year, we set up our first Young Interpreters Committee. We created digital signage for our infoscreens in different languages, created word lists to support pupils, ran clubs, and even trained 100 EAL buddies and much more.

A dedicated team of pupils, under the careful and brilliant guidance of Miss Grey wanted to create some more substantial signage to exemplify our wonderfully diverse and inclusive School Community…and it’s now landed!

While the original artwork now adorns the entrance to Mr Beeley’s office, local company Impact Signs have transformed the artwork into some sizeable signage for our Lynton Building! We couldn’t be any prouder of our pupils!

We can’t wait to see what our new EAL Executive Committee do next! The pupils who designed this are: Thomas Birch, Eddie Holt, Taqwa Fahad, Zainah Suman, Rose Selwood-Metcalfe, Oi-Lam Tang, Dhriiti Kulkarni, Ruby Suchak and Jingyi Zheng.

Wow!
