KS3 Assessed Practical
This week has been very hectic in Design and Technology, getting the many projects completed for the end of the rotation. In Cooking and Nutrition lessons, this has meant completing an assessed practical.
Pupils in Year 8 were challenged to plan, prepare and cook a Mediterranean dish that would be suitable for teenagers. Year 9’s challenge saw pupils planning, preparing and cooking a low budget main meal for a family based on either African, Asian or American cuisine.
All pupils were very impressive, demonstrating high levels of confidence and working independently following the time plans they had produced. It was amazing to see the enthusiasm and amount of effort from each pupil and it was clear that they were taking pride in their work.
Massive well done to all Year 8 & 9 pupils involved.
