International Women in Engineering Day

A big congratulations to all of the students that took part in the “Egg-Drop Challenge” to celebrate International Women in Engineering Day. Students worked in teams to create a structure protecting their precious egg from impact, with limited time and resources. The ingenuity of those involved was really impressive, with the three winning eggs surviving a fall of 2.5 metres. Mr Rispin had to throw the final eggs from an upstairs window to make them finally crack!

It ended in an impressive three-way tie with the winning teams consisting of: Kylie Leung (10JBN), Jovie Ho (10CSN), Justin Yip (10RJN), Coral-Rose Stanton (9GBN), Katie Klopper (9AFR), Leo Chou (10JBN), Cyzarine Chu (10CSN), Micah Ng (10CSN), Long Tsai (10JBN)

Also. thank you to tutors for taking part in the Inter-Form Quiz – a record turn-out yet again! Well, done to the winning tutor groups: 7FBE, 8DMD, 8PCL, 8SCE, 9LGE, 9DMY, 10JBN.
