Consent to Retain Parent Emails and Student Photographs for Students in Years 11 and 13 2023-24

Email Consent

We would like to retain your email address on our Student Information Management System for one year after your son/daughter has left the School. This will only be used to inform you that your son/daughter’s GCSE/A Level certificates are ready for collection and also to invite you and your son/daughter to our special Awards Evening event.

Pupil Images Consent

At Wellington School we often take photographs of pupils to celebrate success and publicise the school. We use these in the school’s prospectus, the school’s newsletter, on the school’s website, on the school’s social media and on display boards in classrooms and around school. In addition, we would like to retain your son/daughter’s images for up to 5 years after they have left school. The reason for this retention is that the school may have held an event or activity that we would like to share with existing and prospective students and their parents. You can of course withdraw this extended consent at any time once your child has left our school. We would like your consent to take photos of your child and use them in the ways described above.
