The Government has announced that it will not publish any school or college level educational performance data based on tests, assessments or exams for 2020, and has outlined accountability arrangements for 2020/21. The GCSE and A level results tables will be released in November and January respectively.
The percentage of pupils achieving a strong pass (grade 5 and above) in both English and Mathematics was 56% in 2019. The Progress 8 score was +0.271 and the Attainment 8 score was 54.47. The percentage of pupils achieving the English Baccalaureate (at grade 5 and above) was 28%.
The preliminary Value Added figure for A Level was +0.35 with an average A level grade of B-. The results for each subject can be found here.

In 2018 the percentage of pupils who achieved a strong pass (grade 5 or above) in English and Mathematics was 56%. The Progress 8 score was +0.26 and the Attainment 8 score was 52.7. The percentage of pupils achieving the English Baccalaureate (grade 5+) was 22%.

In 2017 the percentage of pupils who achieved 5 strong passes in English and mathematics was 61%. Those achieving 5 standard passes including English and mathematics was 83%. Our progress 8 score was +0.42 which puts us in the top 18% of schools in England.

In 2016 73.2% of pupils achieved 5 A*-C including English and mathematics, meaning in the last three years pupils have produced our highest three sets of GCSE results ever. Pupil progress in English was excellent and at it’s highest ever with 90% of pupils making expected progress. In mathematics this figure was 72%. Our progress 8 score of +0.16 was pleasing, demonstrating that our pupils fared extremely well compared with those nationally of similar starting points.
