Bebras Challenge

Wellington Computing students took part in the annual Bebras challenge last month.

The aim of the challenge is to develop computational thinking skills such as pattern recognition and algorithm design. Students solve a number of problems that are not related to any specific curriculum area.

46 students scored in the top 10% nationally and are invited to take part in a further competition which tests programming skills. Congratulations to Charles Green (7HPY), William Foggan (9MPY), George Lewis (10FBE) and Edward Davies (12DWS), who were best in school in their age categories.
