Sixth Form Soiree

Our Sixth Form Soiree was another roaring success!

We were able to gather together one last time and celebrate the end of an era. The students all arrived with this season’s accessory …….. a portable electric fan!

It’s a bitter sweet event, we love to send them off on their way towards, cities, universities and careers of their dreams, ambitions about to be fulfilled. But we will miss their company and the lovely young people they are.

Most are super excited to be off and a few embracing their next steps with a little trepidation, but we know all of them will take their Wellington Sixth Form ‘can do’ attitude and grit onto their next stop on the journey that is life.

Memories were shared, photo’s taken (it’s all about the ‘gram!), a delightful buffet enjoyed (big shout out to Brynley’s who always do us a fantastic spread) there was much laughter, speeches and acknowledgements and the heat survived…… just!

Big thank you to all the staff who came along and made the event even more special to the students. They were thrilled to be able to chat to teachers all of whom were integral to their success.

Big thanks to Mr Cropper, Mrs Wilson and Mr Scott who helped put up all the decs in heat that verged on tropical, it was no mean feat! I couldn’t have done that on my own, you were stars! The staff from Altrincham Kersal were also helping us out too in the heat, so thanks for that and another great event at your venue.

We sent them off on their way – with a lovely mug, to head off on holiday to many a European island or resort, all happy after a great reminisce and closing of a chapter. Congratulations Class of 2026, see you on results day!
