Well done to the U14 girls hockey team who came runners up in the England Hockey State Schools Cheshire competition last week.

The team comprised of mostly Year 9 along with 3 Year 8’s who did themselves proud. They sprinted up the wing, raced back to defended, tackled with more strength and determination than I’ve ever seen before, particularly against AGGS who they beat 2-1!

Huge well done to all who played but in particular to Emma Blackburn who received player of the tournament from her peers!
