You may remember ex Wellington student Rory Mansell who has just completed his PhD using AI for defect detection in ultrasonic images. He completed it at The University of Manchester in partnership with BAE systems. We look forward to hearing more news of where this achievement takes him next. Rory also happens to be Mr Travis’ nephew, and the family are very proud of him!
