ADMISSIONS TO YEAR 7 – SEPTEMBER 2019
Applications for Year 7 in September 2019 are to be made via your Local Authority. The deadline for applications was 31st October 2018.
If you have missed the deadline, please contact School Admissions at your Local Authority.
Offers for Year 7 September 2019 will go out on 1st March 2019. If you are not successful in securing a place at Wellington School you can:

You must inform Trafford Local Authority of your wish for your son/daughter to be added to our waiting list.

2. Appeal against the decision not to allocate your child a place
You have, of course, the right to appeal against the School’s decision.

Appeal hearings will take place during the week commencing 6th May 2018.
There will be a meeting for all parents appealing against the School’s decision not to offer places on Thursday, 2nd May 2018 at 6.30 p.m. At this meeting School will present its case as to why places have not been offered.
Parents will then be given the opportunity to present their cases at individual hearings throughout that week. Parents will be contacted in writing when a date/time has been arranged for their Appeal.
On time Appellants will receive at least 10 school days’ notice of their Appeal Hearing.
Where there are multiple days of appeal hearings decision letters will be sent within 5 school days of the last hearing date.
