This week, we accompanied 24 Year 10 students to the Sky Up Academy in London for a workshop focused on utilising state-of-the-art equipment to film and edit a movie trailer. It was clear that everyone enjoyed engaging with the wardrobe department and green screens to achieve impressive visual effects. In the evening, the students attended a screening of the new Avengers film, Thunderbolts. The final activity included a tour of Warner Brothers Studios, specifically Harry Potter World, where students explored various sets, watched live demonstrations, and even had the opportunity to pose for a photo on Harry’s broomstick!
