After school in Room 9 on Thursday, we debated whether or not Capitalism has failed. Has it delivered? Does it create greater happiness, or instead, does it delver less happiness for all, and should be consigned to the dustbin of history? The team of Sourish Chanda and Matthew Tsang from Year 10 were by far the better prepared team and they wiped the floor with capitalism. A brave fence was put up for capitalism, but none could withstand the onslaught. Next week we’ll be debating internet piracy and whether it is ever justified.
