Well done to the U16 girls hockey team who played in a challenging Greater Manchester tournament on Thursday. 

They faced Loreto, Withington and Sale Grammar in tough games but continued to battle hard throughout. There were debuts for Year 11 girls Amelia Desai-Adams and Jess Chay who mixed well with the usual Year 10 and 11 crew, plus the return of Isabelle Harrison and Emma Sutcliffe. They lost 2 and drew 1 despite some great short corner tactics and came 4^th in Greater Manchester. Emma Baker had a storming game with speedy runs down the right which she is famous for, resulting in the award of player of the day from her teammates! Well done to all who played.
