Another sunny afternoon playing hockey. We began the game with a top corner reverse stick screamer from Ben Langridge and the goals just kept coming; it was 5-0 at half time! Sale played some lovely hockey with long runs down the wing, but Will Douglas and Grace Edge channelled them well and made some super tackles to ensure they only had a few chances to score. Toby Hornby returned between the sticks and made some strong saves. The final score was 6-1 and Sale gave player of the game to Charlotte Brown. We gave a joint award to Ben Langridge and Grace Edge but it was a super team display so well done to all.
