Jensen Clarke (Year 9) and Noah Sims (Year 8) – Acrobatics British Championships

Fantastic news – at Wellington we are not celebrating just one, but two student Gold Medal British Champions!

This past weekend, our very own Jensen Clarke (Year 9) and Noah Sims (Year 8) competed at the Acrobatics British Championships held at Fenton Manor in Stoke. They both participated in their respective mixed pair categories, going head-to-head with the best mixed pairs across England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. 

Jensen, paired with Grace, delivered a remarkable 28.000 out of 30 points. This impressive score was against nine mixed pairs, and they achieved the highest execution score in the entire competition across 2 days! Meanwhile, Noah, teamed with Ariah, also put on an incredible display, earning a fantastic 26.850 out of 30 points against five mixed pairs!

To be able to say that they are the best in the whole of Britain is an extraordinary achievement and a testament to their exceptional talent and commitment to the world of acrobatic gymnastics.
