Year 12 and 13 Film Studies students recently took part in an enriching trip to the British Film Institute on the Southbank, London, for an Amy documentary study day. Students attended a full screening of the film followed by an insightful Q&A session with the director, Asif Kapadia. This experience provided valuable revision and deeper contextual understanding for Year 13, while also giving Year 12 an engaging and meaningful introduction to their upcoming documentary unit. The students represented the school brilliantly and gained a great deal from the day.
