Bronze DofE Expedition 2

Friday 9^th May – Saturday 10^th May

Well done to the 74 students who completed their Bronze DofE expedition in Rivington last weekend. We were very lucky again with the lovely weather and fairly dry underfoot conditions. All groups excelled in their teamwork skills, showed an incredible amount of resilience and had fantastic navigation skills. These group of young people embodied all of the Wellington School values and were a pleasure to take on their DofE weekend.

A number of groups stood out on the weekend with comical value and evening entertainment provided by group 24. Brilliant cooking and team work from group 26 and determination and speedy hiking from group 28 and group 30.

We could not have done this weekend without the support off all off the Wellington staff, a massive thank you to them.

Well done to everyone and I look forward to seeing these students taking part in the Silver DofE Award.
