Year 9 Rugby League Tournament 20.06.17

Mr Higginson with this report on the Year 9 Rugby League Tournament:

“The Year 9 rugby league team travelled to the AJ Bell Stadium this week to compete in the ‘Red Devils Champions League 9 a-side Finals’. Representing Trafford, the 9’s competed against the top schools from Salford and Bury. Drawn in a tough pool, the boys were up against it from the start and it was clear the size and physicality of the other schools in our pool would be a challenge. Despite losing all 3 games, the boys never gave up with the likes of Pat Waters, Anthony Oliver and Toby Allan leading from the front putting in some big shifts in both attack and defence.”
