Year 9 Art

“I am delighted with the work from my Y9 class” writes Miss Grey. “Following some research and drawing of fish, 9.9 looked at the artist Clare Youngs. Inspired by her work they created their own paper patterns and surfaces, these were then used to create collages of fish. They are unique in colour and pattern and the students worked really hard to create them.

The work has gone onto Instagram, and the artist Clare Youngs tagged in, she commented on them ‘They look wonderful!’ high praise indeed from a real life artist! Their collages were then filmed and made into a little movie by Miss Berry and put onto Instagram, so my wonderful little shoal are swimming!”
