Year 8/9 Basketball 08.02.17

On Wednesday the Year 8/9 basketball team played BTH in our final basketball game of the season. With Max Nikou and Sam Thompson unavailable it was going to be difficult against their Year 9 team. The lads battled well throughout a low scoring game and worked their way back to 16-16 with one minute to play. With a few chances on either side not taken, that’s how it finished. A great team effort which is indicative of the season they have had – stepping up from Year 7 Trafford Champions into a league of higher age groups and only losing one game is a tremendous effort.
