Year 7 Girls Football

“Due to such high numbers of Year 7’s at training every week I entered two teams to the Trafford football competition at BTH on Monday. The girls have been training well for the past few weeks and have gelled nicely as a team. The teams worked hard each game and beat Stretford 3-0; Flixton 2-1 and drew 2-2 with Broadoak. Two 0-0 draws with Loreto and Lostock meant we missed out on progressing due to goal difference. There were some stand-out performances by Daisy Coombes, Sophia Nagel, Kate Lane, Samantha Halstead, Jena Monney, Anya Byers and Emily Williams. Well done to all the girls involved, it was a great debut for their school football careers.”
