Year 10 Handball

Congratulations to the Year 10 handball team who are now runners up in Trafford after losing an exciting final to Sale Grammar.  Handball is a fantastic sport which will become increasingly important at Wellington due to its assessment opportunities at GCSE level.  The boys who are new to the sport have been able to adapt basketball, rugby and football skills to great effect, they have quickly got up to speed and were not far off the mark in the final against a Sale team who boast two boys involved with the GB academy.
