Y13 History Trip to Manchester University Library – 01.03.18
“The Year 13 history class braved the ‘beast from the east’ and ‘storm Emma’ on Thursday afternoon to make the annual trip to Manchester University library” writes Mr Scott. “The librarians were impressed that we hadn’t cancelled the trip, and even more impressed when I told them we had walked from the tram stop at St Peter’s Square! Despite the adverse conditions the students found the trip very useful as they were able to make use of the extensive range of resources to enhance their Tudor Rebellions coursework. It may have taken a good while we have finally thawed out! Next year we may be taking a minibus rather than the tram!”
