Virtual WellyFest

For the last few years I know that WellyFest has been a fixture on our social calendar and the last few concert’s were full of amazing performances from a wide range of people who belong to our Wellington Community. This year you can’t come to WellyFest so we’ll try and bring some of Welly Fest to you via our social media sites so make sure you follow us on Instagram @wellingtonschoolmusic and Twitter @Mus_Wellington and also on our You Tube Channel. More details will follow throughout the week.

If you would like to get involved it is still not too late. You can still send us your video submissions up to and including Monday 13th July. It could be singing, dancing, playing an instrument, a card trick, a stand-up routine in fact anything at all. We’ve already had some submissions from a few of our musicians and you are in for a treat.

Another way to get involved will be through our virtual ensemble where we are aiming to get all our musicians (this includes you singers) in a performance of ‘How Far I’ll Go’ from Moana. Backing tracks, instrumental and vocal parts and information on how to record your submissions can be found here: https://mrsmoorhousemusic.wordpress.com/how-far-ill-go/ No part for the spoons or any other instrument you have lying about at home? Improvise along with our backing track. Parents, Staff, Governors, Friends of Wellington this invitation to get involved is to all of you as well.

Stay safe, Mrs Moorhouse & Miss Lee
