VI Form Football

Mr Morgan reports that the sixth form football team cruised into the semi finals’ of the Greater Manchester Schools Cup with an 8-0 thrashing of Parrs Wood High School on Monday afternoon.   The team have played well this season and got rich reward with some excellent team play, both Scott Milner and Mikolaj Mars scored two goals with Taylor Nixon, Lloyd Gardner, Tom Swindell, and Jack Davenport getting on the score sheet.   Particularly pleasing was the performance of the three year 11 students who adapted well to playing up an age group, in fact man of the match for his composed passing from midfield goes to year 11 Ben Richards.  We look forward to the semi final in the New Year.
