UK Junior Mathematical Challenge
Wednesday and Thursday of this week saw a record number of 113 students from Year 7 and 8 taking part in the annual UK Junior Mathematical challenge. This national event was run online with students logging onto the website and working their way through 25 questions in 1 hour.
The questions were particularly tricky but the perseverance and determination shown by our students showed considerable resilience, an essential quality for succeeding in a constantly changing world.
Well done to those who took part so willingly, you were a credit to Wellington School.
I expect the results to be available in 3 weeks, at which time certificates can be downloaded, printed and given out to students.
