Timperley Duke of Edinburgh Awards

Mrs Moorhouse sends a huge thank you to Sing with 7s who had a very busy week last week.

“Fresh from their performances at Wyncourt Care Home and the Bowdon Youth Festival they were out and about again, performing at the Timperley Duke of Edinburgh Awards Ceremony held at Christ Church, Timperley. They gave up their Friday night to sing for the presentation evening to highlight the volunteering work completed by Lucy and Eleanor for the Volunteering section of their award. Well done Sing with 7s on a very busy and successful week, enjoy your half term.

Rehearsals will start back on Friday 2nd March (remember it’s the sponsored walk on Friday 23rd), and from next half term Year 7s are also welcome to join our main choir ‘Sing’ on Wednesday lunchtimes. Everyone is welcome to attend any of these rehearsals. I’ve bought some biscuits in bulk, so we look forward to seeing you there.”
