Sponsored Walk – Friday 22nd February 2019

Mrs Copeland is delighted to report the launch of the Sponsored Walk this week with assemblies taken with every year group by the Timperley Amateur Boxing Club and Pictor Academy. She says:

“I would like to thank Mark Davison and Jacqui Wheble for their great presentations.

The money raised will hopefully enable Pictor Academy to purchase a minibus with a hoist to replace their current minibus which is not road worthy. We are also hopeful in raising enough money for Pictor Academy to start a much needed sensory garden for the students with the most complex needs.

Timperley Amateur Boxing Club will use money raised, to extend the existing Club to enable more young people and adults from the local community to use their facilities and the Club will offer much more than just boxing and circuit training – activities will include yoga, dance, wrestling and a space that can be used for community events.

I would like to thank you I advance for all your support. Last year the Sponsored Walk raised £46,000 and I really hope we can match that amount or even raise more!

If you haven’t already done so, please return the reply slip giving your permission for your son/daughter to take part on the 22nd February.

More information regarding the walk will be sent to you soon.

Thank you again for your support.”
