Sainsbury’s School Games Mark

“The Sainsbury’s School Games Mark is a government led awards scheme launched in 2012 to reward schools for their commitment to the development of sport participation and competition across their school and into the community. In 2015/2016 we were awarded the Silver Mark from the School Games. Since then we have worked even harder increasing the sports and activities we offer to pupils. We have an abundance of clubs that run both at lunchtime and after school. On top of training sessions, there are numerous fixtures every week against other schools in sports such as netball, football, rugby, handball, hockey and basketball. Our hard work has paid off and we are delighted to be awarded the Gold plaque for the 2016/2017 academic year.”
