Maths Stars of the Week
This week the Mathematics department award the following Stars of the Week.
Miss Latham awards Oliver Charman in Year 8 for completing lots of Timestable Rockstar practice over the Easter holidays. Well done Oliver!
Mr Fellowes awards Fatima Bhatti also in Year 8. He comments that he has seen an incredible confidence boost in Fatima recently and every single lesson Fatima is putting in 110%. When others around are struggling, Fatima is also helping them to understand how to complete tasks and this difference has also been noticed by the Teaching Assistant in the classroom. Keep up this excellent work Fatima!
Mrs Golden’s Stars of the Week go to Alex Cheng, Isaac Edwards-Blackshaw, Willam Parums and Katy Worthington for their excellent result in the recent Maths assessment. Well done -your hard work has paid off. Keep up your focus and effort levels.
Miss Cradick awards Michelle Moyo in Year 11. Michelle has shown an excellent attitude towards her GCSE revision, both within lessons and independently. Miss Cradick has been really impressed with Michelle’s continued effort with her classwork and the valuable contributions she makes to lessons. Michelle has really engaged with any extra support offered outside of lessons and is showing real commitment to revision. Well done Michelle!
And Mrs Smith’s Star of the Week is awarded to Mia Liddell for making a fantastic poster of the Greek alphabet; clearly annotated and colourful! This has spurred 8X1 in setting our challenge to learn the Greek alphabet this term. Well done Mia in your extra efforts at home and keep up the inspirational work!
