Maths Stars of the Week
The Mathematics department are celebrating the achievements of the following Stars of the Week this week.
Mr Fellowes would like to nominate Sebastian Butt in Year 7. He comments that Sebastian is constantly challenging himself and making sure his answers to Maths problems have reasoning behind them. Sebastian also answered an exam question on angles today using angle facts to justify every single answer. Keep up the great work Sebastian.
Mrs Lewis nominates Sam Eastham from Year 8 for becoming a Grand Master in the Numeracy Ninjas booklets by getting the most consistent black belts in the class. Well done from Mrs Lewis!
Mrs Smith awards her Star of the Week to Holly Gibson in Year 7. This is for the fantastic effort she has put in on her Doddle tests. Holly has averaged 95% on all of her tests which is an impressive start in Year 7. Keep up the great work Holly!
Miss Cradick awards Charlie Patterson from Year 8. Charlie has worked really hard this week to complete his probability doddle tasks. Keep up the good work Charlie!
Mrs Mackay awards Issy Ratcliffe in Year 10. She comments that Issy always works really hard and displays an excellent attitude to all aspects of Mathematics. Issy achieved a high level of attainment in her most recent GCS. Higher Assessment and well deserves it. Well done Issy!
Mrs Heaton awards Tom Palmer also in Year 10. Tom has worked well to achieve a fantastic attainment score in his most recent assessment. His parents were delighted at Parent’s Evening last night and so am I! Well done Tom!
