KS3 Cooking and Nutrition
As we near the end of rotation one, pupils in Years 8 & 9 have been planning their final assessments which took place this week.
Year 8 pupils were tasked with planning, preparing and cooking a Mediterranean meal, with Year 9 following a design brief for Budget Meals for Families.
All pupils independently researched their final dish and then produced detailed time plans which they followed in the practical assessment.
Everyone worked really well and I was amazed at the range of delicious dishes produced, some of which featured on the Wellington DT Instagram page.
