Bronze Duke of Edinburgh

Miss Challinor writes:

“Saturday 16th saw our 2nd Bronze Duke of Edinburgh training day with the 80+ students who are taking part. The day consisted of lots of practical work, including putting up tents and using the trangias. Students were told to bring mugs and tea bags with them so they could experience the wonder that is a hot drink made through a trangia.

All students were incredibly well behaved and are hopefully now all prepared for their practice expedition in Rivington on April 26th.

Thanks again to all the staff who came and helped on the day, as well as the students for being so eager to learn and get involved.”
