10.6 English

Mr Williams with a Year 10 English update:

“10.6 have spent the last few weeks improving their writing skills and developing a sense of ‘voice’ in their writing. The class had been set the task of writing an editorial article for a broadsheet newspaper where they gave their views on social media and this week, they completed the final draft of these pieces of writing. I was very impressed with the overall quality of the final drafts (see the picture below) and also with the commitment that the class had demonstrated when working on the redrafting process. Every piece of work was one that had made significant progress from the first draft, but special mention must go to Amelia Atack and Harry Burgess for crafting very thought-provoking and mature articles. Good work 10.6!”
