A Level Literature Study Day: A Doll’s House, Manchester
This from Miss Hitchens:
“On Tuesday, Miss Spencer and I took 30 English Literature students to a series of lectures on Henrik Ibsen’s A Doll’s House. There is real value in hearing the language of academics and learning new ideas – or even the wording of ideas already established in the teaching of the text.
Hopefully, these ideas will add further substance to some generally impressive mock examinations from Year 13 and support Year 12 in their ongoing revision and next week’s assessment.
It was pleasing to see how many notes the students took! A thoroughly useful day!”
